Fall Fashion

I love fall, and I love inspirational pictures. Fall fashion is the most exciting and fun fashion to wear in my opinion, you can combine your pieces with a lot of different accessories from scarves and jackets, to gorgeous boots. I've found some inspirational pictures from WeHeartIt that I wanted to share with you readers, that will show what kind of styles and pieces I love for fall. Sweaters and boots are a few of my fall staples when it comes to my closet. Some nice accessories are also a big plus. Let me know which fall pieces are your favorites in the comments!

Mac Prep + Prime Fix +

MAC fix + has got to be one of my favorite face sprays of all time. Fix + can be used to a lot of different things, and my favorite things to use this product for is prepping the skin before makeup, to intensify eyeshadows and pigments, to even out my makeup and to refresh my skin.

Description from the MAC website:
A lightweight mist of water packed with vitamins and minerals, infused with a blend of green tea, chamomile and cucumber to gently soothe and refresh the skin. Gives an instant boost of hydration while delivering a soft sheen to refresh and finish makeup.

I'm on my second bottle right now, and I know for sure that I will buy a new one when this is nearly finished. This spray makes my face soft and fresh, while hydrating, and I have to say I'm kind of addicted. I love the new packaging of the spray, the matte look is so gorgeous and so elegant. This spray is a multipurpose product, and I love it for that. The price is not bad either, and you get a lot of product in the bottle. I can notice a change to my skin when I use this, and this product has been well loved the last year which has made it my holy grail face spray.

How To: Store Your Makeup Brushes For a Cheap Price

I love organizing and storing when it comes to my makeup vanity, and I do like it cheap. IKEA is a great place to shop for your makeup vanity, whether it is for a vanity, storage, organization and they even have a good selection of decoration that you can put on top of your vanity. Today I want to share with you two cheap products that you can get from IKEA, which are perfect for storing your makeup brushes.

These holders are actually a pot plant, and a candle holder, both from IKEA. These are very popular when it comes to storing makeup brushes - they have been talked about on both blogs and on YouTube. I find these to be very decorative, and they have many size selections so you can find the perfect size for your brushes, whether you have many, or just a few. The pot on the first picture over is called KARDEMUMMA, and this is a big pot with space for many brushes. The candle holder on the last picture is called SKURAR and is a bit smaller, but then again, IKEA has a good selection when it comes to sizes of these. I feel like the KARDEMUMMA pot is a bit better when it comes to quality, simply because it is thicker, and it is not made of steel like the SKURAR one. I do love both of these holders, but for my vanity, I like to use the bigger pots for my brushes, and the candle holder is very handy for storing mascaras, lipsticks, you name it! If you're looking for some good and cheap storage for your makeup brushes and products, I would recommend checking these out!

Office Inspiration

In about two months I'm heading over to IKEA to buy some new furniture for my office and makeup area. I'm really excited to finally get a nice and separate space where I can work on my blog. As for now I only have one desk where I have both my computer, and all of my makeup stash, and because my makeup collection has grown a lot the last year, I really need two separated spaces. I'm getting a desk for my office and a vanity for my makeup. I can't wait to show you how it will turn out, but for now I will share a collage with a few pictures from WeHeartIt that has inspired me, and given me a picture in my head of how I want my office to be.

My Favorite Brushes At The Moment

Before I start this post, I want to say that because I'm going back to school next week, I'm going to change my blog schedule. From now on I will post three to four times a week - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday. This will allow me to get more time for planning, taking pictures, write posts, and other blog related stuff.

I love makeup brushes. I remember when I started out with makeup that I only had a few brushes, and now a few years later I have a lot more from different brands. My favorite brands when it comes to brushes are Real Techniques and Jessup Brushes from eBay. I have not tried any Sigma or Zoeva brushes, but I hope I get to do that in the future.

Recently I've fell in love with the Black/Silver 15 Piece brush set from Jessup that I bought off eBay. I've heard a lot about the brushes, and for the cheap price these are sold for, I had to get my hands on them. I've been using the Jessup brushes for about a month now, and I have to say, I love these more than my Real Techniques ones. So today I will be sharing my favorites from the 15 Piece brush set from Jessup.

The first three brushes I love at the moment are these blending brushes from the set. These brushes are called Blending, Tapered Blending, and Small Tapered Blending. The brushes blend and applies product like a dream - I have not tried any blending brushes as good as these. I use the blending brush and the tapered blending brush for applying product in my crease or the outer corner of my eyes, and the small tapered blending brush for blending.

Next brush is the Tapered Face brush, and this brush has got to be my favorite of all of these brushes. As of now I use this brush to apply my powder, both under the eyes and to set my face. The brush is very soft, and it feels amazing on the skin. A thing that I really like about this brush is that product does not get set or stuck in to the brush, so the brush looks clean after applying the product - and because of that, it can be used for blending later on. This brush can be used for so many things, like applying bronzer, blush, and so on.

Next brush is the Powder/Blush brush, and this is a brush that I've been loving for applying my bronzer. This brush is soft, and can also be used to blend out product, because the product that it picks up does not get set or stuck in to the brush. This brush can also be used to contour, because it is more flat than round.

The Tapered Highlighter is a favorite for applying highlighter. It is the perfect sized brush for applying highlighter to the cheeks, nose and so on, and it's also a perfect size for applying powder underneath the eyes, and to contour with.

The last brush that I've been loving is the large fluff brush. This brush can be used to a lot, but I've mainly used it to pack eyeshadow on my eyelid, and to contour my cheek bones and my nose. It is not good for blending out product, but for applying, it's been a really good brush.

Because I've been loving the 15 Piece set from Jessup so much, I'm thinking about buying some of the other sets off eBay. These brushes are known for being dupes for the Sigma brushes, so trying the kabuki set and the 12 Piece set is something I really want to do. If i do buy them, I will let you know what I think of them!
